Eric Rothenberg graduated from Cornell University with a degree in math, was a CPA for 40 years, and now practices cryptocurrency tax law. Rothenberg's focus is on Bitcoin, cryptocurrency, and blockchain asset sales. He has published articles on taxation of cryptocurrency and was the featured luncheon speaker for crypto taxation at the 57th Annual Tax Institute for CPA’s at Western NE University in 2018. Rothenberg advises clients on both capital gains and losses for crypto as well as ordinary income and FBAR reporting.
